Carrying the Authentic Taste with Its Twist
It's an amazing feeling when you can be easily transported with just a taste, from the ‘Garden City’ to the ‘City Of Joy’. Amongst all of the beautiful things that define Kolkata, one thing I immensely miss about this city is the easy accessibility of the Kathi roll at every nook and corner. The delicious wrap, stuffed with charred meat of just simply with eggs, is something special about the Kathi roll that one would easily find there but anywhere else!
Stepping into XOOX Brewmill out of my husband and mine’s habit, we wished to have a fusion cuisine and then decided to have a bite of the Kolkata Style Chicken Kathi Roll. Just from the first bite, I was overwhelmed with happiness! It has been a very long time since I had got the real taste of the roll, especially the way I like it. Another aspect that I like the most is the generosity. The dish is assembled with 4 mini pieces of the giant roll, stuffed with plenty of meat and veggies, making sure that not a single element overpower one another, everyone stays together just like how it should be with a secret sauce that adds a lovable twist to the taste.
