It was an unexpected plan to ride on my motorcycle (Black Machine). My friend also joined me for the trip on his motorcycle. What else could be a better getaway for the weekend when there is a ride.
The plan was from 1st November to 3 rd November 2019. We left Bengaluru by 9:00 and reached Mysuru by 13:00. Lot of traffic was there as it was weekend. I had called to one of my childhood friend who is staying in Mysuru about our plan. I met her after 14 long years since school. Had lunch in her home and it was like as if nothing has changed. And then we took rest and we left to Ooty via Masinagudi. Bandipur forest area was one of the best stretch and the timing was the best to hit the road in the evening. After reaching Ooty, we ended up in a trouble for staying because of Oyo pre booking and then sorted it out. Our plan was to stay in tent but because of restrictions, we were not able to fix the tent. So we took a room and terrace was there . We fixed our tent on the terrace and slept there.🤣
The plan was to visit few places in and around Ooty. We visited Botanical garden, kinda mandatory to visit for the first time. And then visited chocolates factory, the hot chocolate syrup was very tasty.😋
Then visited coonoor and stayed there for sometime. Breakfast in A2B, lunch in a Jain hotel opposite to A2B. After lunch we were supposed to get back to Mysuru. So started back our journey. We came back via Nilgiris and it was one of the best to experience "living the moment".
Then back to Bandipur area and reached Mysuru by night. Stayed in a traveller hostel.
Early morning back to Bengaluru. We left Mysuru by 5:30 in the morning and then reached Bengaluru afternoon time. Freshened up and slept for sometime. The experience was the best. All went good. Back to base with lot of memories.
