Day 1

Thailand also known as the 'Land of Smiles' is a South east Asian country. It's one of the best places for a budget travel and to experience the natural beauty.

Landed Phuket International airport at 8am and it took around 1 hour more for the Visa on arrival process.

We checked in to the Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort which is a little away from the main market and is worth the stay. The rooms are spacious and the facilities at the hotel are great. We took rest in the afternoon and roamed around the Phuket main Street- the famous Bangla road at night.

The road is famous for it's night clubs, massage parlours and street foods. People who love seafood will get number of options here to please there taste buds. Also, the massage centers here offer different kind of massages at very affordable prices. We opted for foot massage and relaxed our body.

Day 2

Phuket offers alot of tour packages that can be booked online through any site or can be booked through the travel shops that are there at every nook and corner of the streets. I preferred the online platform for booking as I got many discounts through it.

We booked a full day trip to Phang Nang bay including a trip to different islands. The great thing about these trips is that there is a pick up and drop off facility to the hotel so it saves a lot of time. The trip started at around 10am from the venue where we were given information about the trip, do's and don't in the trip. We were then assigned our speed boats and we boarded it for the trip. The trip included various beautiful spots and activities like the limestone caves, James bond Isand, Canoeing.

Phang Nang bay offered a great view with it's limestone caves, mangrove forests and rock formations. One of the famous island here was the James bond island which is even featured in one of the movies 'James bond with the golden gun'. The highlight of the island is the limestone cliff jutting out of the emerald green water.

The best part of the trip was the canoeing. We ventured through boat to explore the inexplicable beauty of the national park.

The trip included a delicious lunch (Please do inform the team members from the agency if you are a vegetarian). And then we were dropped off at the hotel with a beautiful picture of the memories we had there.

We got to know from one of our friends before that Thailand is famous for full moon beach parties. We researched it on internet and found that one of the beach party on "Paradise beach" was being organized on our travel date. We booked the tickets online for 1600 Baht (excluding drinks) and we're excited to be a part of the beach party.

There are regular pick up and drops scheduled from Patong beach (every half an hour) for such beach parties. We took the ferry and reached the venue at around 9pm. It's a fascinating experience to attend such parties as you get to experience the beach along with rock music and awesome crowd.

We began our day with view of beautiful and serene beaches, limestone caves and ended the day with awesome beach party.

Day 3

The next destination was the most stunning and unforgettable island- "Phi Phi". The island has its own beauty with lush green color water, coral reefs which is the best place for scuba divers and snorkeling.

The best part of the island is that there are no cars, public transport in the island and the only way to visit the places is by walking. Please make sure that you book the hotel/resort near to the beach and avoid hill top hotels as you will have to cover a lot of distance with the luggage in order to reach the place. (This was one of our biggest mistake here).

Phi phi has an amazing nightlife with good pubs around the city. These pubs are centrally located and offer a variety of 'buckets' at an affordable range.

Also do taste the very amazing Mango sticky rice dessert which is very different and though a weird combination, but once you have it you will definitely crave for more.

Day 4

Everyone might have heard about the movie "The beach"starring Leonardo di Caprio filmed in 1999. This movie was shot at Maya beach and therefore this is one of the famous tourist attractions.

As we were short of time we decided to take a half day trip with a speedboat as it was covering most of the places in less time. We opted for booking the same through a local agent as through negotiations we could reduce the price of the travel. The best part of the trip was that we had a private speedboat with just one more couple sharing the boat with us.

We started the trip by visiting the "Monkey beach" which is a small beach full of monkeys. People spend time here clicking photographs with the monkeys but honestly we were too scared to go near them.

The next spot was the famous Maya Bay. The beach near the bay is closed since 2018 for tourist visits, so we had to see the beach from a far off distance. The place has white sandy beach sorrounded by gigantic limestone cliffs and lush green water. It is also famous for coral reefs. Though we couldn't visit the beach but we surely enjoyed the view and the activity thereafter- Snorkeling. At the beginning we we're too scared to even dip in water as we are non swimmers we had seen alot many movie with sharks feeding on the human being. But trust me there couldn't have been a better experience than going inside the water and observing the marine life too magnified. People who are too afraid to do scuba must definitely opt for snorkeling.

After having fun at snorkeling, we visited a lagoon- Phi Ley lagoon which had even greater picturesque view. It is an impressive sight and you can get lot many good photographs here.

The trip to Phi phi ended with lot many beautiful memories. I can definitely say that Phi phi is my favorite island and is a must visit for everyone who wants to fall in love with nature.

Day 5

The next stop for us was the very famous Krabi island. The island is the southern part of Thailand and is also characterized by sandy beaches, night market famous for food, limestone cliffs and street shopping.

We stayed here at Deevana Plaza hotel and enjoyed the food market and the shopping places which were very near to the hotel. The streets shopping includes lot of decor items for home including lights, statues, bags and coconut bowls. Do try these shops for souvenir shopping and remember to bargain.

The very soothing 'Hot Springs' in Krabi are like hot tubs which has water coming out of the ground thermal springs located in volcanic chambers. The water temperature is from 35-40 degree celsius and this is a very relaxing place.

The next stop was the 'Emerald Pool'. The pool is a unique attraction in Krabi. It is situated in a National park- an area rich in biodiversity with natural trail and ponds like blue pool, emerald pool in between.

We had to walk alot to reach these pools but we enjoyed the experience. You can enjoy swimming in the emerald pool but the entry is not allowed for the blue pool.

We had opted for this activity in Kerala, India but this time it was another great experience. Riding through the jungle at the back of an elephant was a joyful ride.

This is a sacred Buddhist temple located in Krabi. The temple is inside the cave and known to be a place where tigers used to reside in earlier days.

The place also has a viewpoint for which you are required to climb alot many stairs. We decided not to see the viewpoint as we were tired alot.

Then the day ended with us roaming around the Krabi beach, shopping and having Indian food. You have alot many Indian restaurants around the place so your cravings for spicy food will definitely be taken care of.
