In all, I spent 1700 rupees on my 1 day trip from Delhi to Jaipur including tourist tickets and excluding shopping. From Delhi to Jaipur I took a bus for Rs 650, and while returning I took a bus for Rs 419. The ticket charges at each destination were around Rs 100, and I took a share auto to travel between locations. When travelling, you can cover a number of nearby Forts like Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort if you reach the Amber Fort. Returning from there, you can visit Jal Mahal since it is on the same route, but if you reach the Hawa Mahal, you can cover its nearby tourist spots like City Palace and Albert Hall Museum, then continue to the next spot. In a single day, you can visit all the spots if you are fast enough.
