It's really easy to pack your bags with just the limited necessities and run down a one day road trip to Jaipur, city preserving our pasts.
Its really exciting as for us it was all unplanned but its really important to have the best people around you, or if you enjoy just your own company, this trip is for you my loves.
We took the trip from Gurugram to Jaipur, straight 5 hour trip including our one stop where we did eat a bit and went to washrooms. We were really lucky to be able to ride in rain. It was raining heavily and we were surrounded by just water. If you want to be as lucky as we were chose a day in the months of July or August.
We stopped right at the Hawa Mahal, as beautiful as it looks from outside, it is the most magnificent artwork I've ever seen. Moreover the past it holds in it leaves us speechless. The roads are a bit too crowdy due to tourists from all over the world.
Just a few kilometres from Hawa Mahal, is our beautiful Jal Mahal, with water all around it, with birds all above the horizon. Stay there and enjoy the view of our marvelous times gone by.
Our next stop was the Nahargarh Fort, which lies at the edge of Aravalli hills, from where you can have a overlook of the whole city of Jaipur. You can try to capture this amazing sight once again, past 8, at night to have an even more astonishing view, and thank me later. There are even certain stories about the ghost of Nahar who's believed to be haunting the fort's construction, its quite interesting to hear a past which somewhere you feel to have been a part of. The ticket cost to the visit in the fort is 50 Rupees for Indians and 200 Rupees for Foreigners.
Lastly, Birla Temple is the place we concluded our trip with. It was all a day it took.
We then went to eat certain well-known dishes of Jaipur, which felt heartwarming. The people in Jaipur are very welcoming and proud to be a citizen of a city so pink in itself. Its a must to keep in your bucket list. A trip of a day yet so much to remember.
