Tripoto

Day-0

I took flight after my meeting in Mumbai to Ahemdabad landed at 10:30 pm went directly to pickup bike for my trip.

Day-1

I and my friend, we started at 2:00 am in morning to ride towards Mount Abu from Ahemdabad, road were empty and it was absolutely dark but you can enjoy the chilled air and roads at safe speed. At around 4:30-5:00 ( we are almost near to Mountain Abu) we stopped at highway side to see the best dawn on my life. ( Organe line rising from mountains)

We reached Abu at 7:00 in morning and after breakfast we manage to find a cheap accommodation ( almost 1000 bucks ) in Mount Abu ( riding mountain curves ). After 4 hours sleep we got ready and explored some local food and lake in Abu.

At 3 pm started again riding towards Jaisalmer and around 7:30 we took a break to find hotel ( almost 1400 bucks ) at highways side in Sachore.

Day-2

We started in morning 8:00 after breakfast towards Jaisalmer via Barmer..roads were amazing wide and less traffic but the only problems were Camels ( may come from any side of the road) so one need to be cautious while riding.

Unfortunately my friend got hit by one almost 40 km before Jaisalmer though safe ( but there’s long story after ). We manage to reach Jaisalmer by 3:00 pm checked in Hotel Tokyo Palace ( decent one got good deal online ).Evening we visited market near Jaisalmer fort though fort was closed.

Day -3

We started morning towards Longewala in THAR, riding through those roads was amazing.. the weather was super hot ( in March ).

We reached longewala by 12:30 ( almost 130 km from Jaisalmer) and we had our lunch at BORDER CAFE catered by Indian Army at nominal prices. We are not allowed to visit upto Indo-Pak border ( due to Balakot incident ).

From longelwala we ride towards Tanot mata temple with sand dunes along side the road ( roads which you can’t see, it’s narrow passage with sand all over) sort of adventurous ride.

We reached back to Jaisalmer, our hotel had a good evening view of Jaisalmer fort ( enjoyed with chai and pakodas).

At night we hunt for Rajasthan’s authentic DAL BAATI followed by amazing sleep 😅

Day-4

Next days we started early packed our bags to return back to Ahemdabad and after breakfast we went out to visit Jaisalmer fort.

We started our riding back at 11:30- 12:00 from Jaisalmer targeting to stay in night at Palanpur ( Gujarat) approx. 425 km but we managed to ride only 300 km and had to find accommodation at highway side. We got decent hotel for 1200 bucks to stay with safe parking in small town.. there we go for sound sleep.

Day-5

Next day, we started by 9:00 am it’s just 150 km to Ahemdabad but when you are near to your destination journey feels longer and it took 3.5 hours to reach Ahemdabad.

I have to return bike ( I hired ),this one is my companion from last 4-5 days and we completed the trip almost safely with no major breakdown. I have to rush to my place ( Surat ) where I earn my bread & butter to make these trip happen😅
