Hawa Mahal also called palace of winds was built for the Queen's to get the view of city without showing there face to the outsider. This structure was built by Maharaja Sawai Singh in 1799 with red and pink sandstone.Its five-story exterior design looks like honeycomb beehiv with 953 small windows called jharokhas decorated with latticework.
Architect has given some doctor effect due to which in intense heat also you can feel cool. Its near the city centre and you can find many markets near this place. There is entry ticket and timings for entry. Entry fee vary from foreigns to Indians.
