Day 1

I was keen in travelling but I never found myself like this before this trip, it's me Sona with my first travel story of Rishikesh. I was working in a Software Industry in Delhi and I was very stressed at a time as I was confused to choose, I  have another offer letter in my hand but I was unable to decide.
My best friend was anxious and worried with my situation So she asked me what happened 🧐, why you are behaving like this 🤔, are you alright 🙄. She was ready to take me out anywhere just to freshen up my mood, offered me to go out  for clubs or shopping or any nearby mall.
In the end she asked me what do you want😳, I was shattered with my thoughts I didn't even know what was going on, I whispered Rishikesh.
I don't know why I want to go to Rishikesh, in the middle of the job without any permission,  or any kind of bookings for hotel & transport. In the middle of everything I want to hide away from the noice of this metro city. I just want to go for a break, I might supposed for some miracle that change my life. So we decided that Rishikesh is our destinations...

Though two young girls just planned instantly for Rishikesh without even permission from home, it's scary enough but be started to make this trip happen.
We booked the train tickets from Delhi to Haridwar in tatkal quota packed our bags and left for the railway station. The route from hostel to the railway station is tremendously confusing with lots of thoughts in mind. Are we  Doing right 🤔...
Is it safe for two girls to travel alone in night!!!
What will happen by next day 🧐🧐🧐...
but afterwards we decided that now we are going so just all is well, all is well, all is well 🤗.

Waiting for the Train

Little rush was there are over the station as it was 9:30pm.
So from here we opted the train and enjoying the overnight journey. It wasn't very rush in our coach. But we find a big surprise who's  already waiting there. the surprise will be revealed by the second day as we were unaware of the upcoming twist in our trip. 🤩🤩 .....

Day 2

We Reached at about 7:30 am nearby station to Haridwar. There we Find out a local Boy was trying to misguide a foreign Traveller by telling him that this station is Haridwar. We figured out  this thing quickly and stopped him not to leave the train as we are also going to Rishikesh.
He trusted us and sat down to his seat. Then we started a formal intro with him 🙃. He was Pep from a small city of Spain I was just going to appeared for medical entrance examination and came for one year trip of India and nearby countries 🤩🤩 . This is nothing but a  solid inspiration for travel to get off fresh mood throughout.
Pep planned for staying in Haridwar, and we were leaving for Rishikesh. He asked to come with us, We said yesss🤗 why not !!!

We move Forward for Rishikesh enjoying the beautiful and eye-catching views of Ganga with the beautiful temples of Haridwar. At that time I wished to flow with this immense feel of Ganga.
After an hour of drive we reached at Rishikesh.
There we Find out an auto for Laxman jhula. Visit the holy temples at Lakshman jhula and had breakfast there.

After few minutes of rest we left for tapovan, as we were looking for a hostel or ashram for pep for 4 night stay. Pep Decided to stay in Rishikesh first and then Haridwar. After some research we found a good ashram for him. The ashram is quite beautiful and peaceful. Morning Yoga classes are there and it's quite budget friendly. After completing the check-in process we left the luggage there and went for a long trail.
Since It was September to the rafting is not available. We decided to go and find some Hidden gems in the Himalayan Mountains.
So we left for a long way from Tapovan in search of Goa beach suggested by the local people. It was high flow in Ganga so the Goa beach was closed.

When we Meet ... On the way for Trail 🤩🤩

The the problem with me and Anusha (my travelmate sorry I forget to introduce her 😬 she is gonna kill me for this😜) we can't resist ourself when it comes to water, its third time and we get into it, We dipped into this Ram jhula ghaat once again, with this condition we left for Haridwar as we want to reach there before Ganga Aarti. Its heavy raining, we drenched completely but we can't stop ourself by reaching to  हर की पैड़ी.
Afterwards we took food in a restaurant and changed our clothes . Move Forward  for railway station.
I came back to Rishikesh with lots of memories, heart full of positivity and a strong passion for travelling 🤩 also get bag full of wet clothes😜.
