I always excited, when I travell to north India, mainly north east, we are childhood friends daily plan trips atleast once in a year, due to pandemic situation we missed 2 years, so sikkim trip is very special trip, we started our journy from north andhra (odisha andhara border) itz a budget trip, we took tain from palasa station to howra, day one we enjoyed local site seeing at kolkata, evening we took bus from kolkata to siliguri, morning we reached sikiguri, which is last part of westbengal.
We reached siliguri at early morning, we completed our basics needs and took vehicle at siliguri to gangtok, it took 4hrs to reach Gangtok, enjoyed ghat road drive, best site seeing sites whole over the drive, it is better to prefer local staying and local food to enjoy best hospitality by localates, many local places to visit in Gangtok Town, mall road is the main attraction, we can expirence best ariel view of gangtok city by rope way.
Lachen, we started our 3rd day from Gangtok to Lachen, itz north sikkim, nearly 130 kms from Gangtok, on the way we can enjoy spectacular views, water falls, by staying at Lachen, we can cover Gurudhomar lake, one of the highest altitude fresh water lake, Indian army base camps, indo China borders etc.
Day 4, we started from lachen to Lachung, around 60 kms ride, and stayed at lachung, from there we started our ride to zero point, one of the popular spot in north sikkim, we can njoy the snow and some freezing temperatures.
