The beach is calling my name!

If you manage to get past hushed whispers of 'massages' or 'bachelor parties' of Bangkok/Thailand, you will discover that it is a completely different place. Friendly locals (sorry, very pretty locals), street food and delicacies and budget-friendly tours, take your pick. Thai hospitality is legendary among travellers and I got to witness plenty of it. The photos say it all :)

If you're in Thailand, you should:

  • Visit Grand Palace
  • Go on a tour of Phi Phi islands which includes a ferry ride and buffet (all within Rs 900 INR as of 2012)
  • Try out the versatile street food (note: The Thai love their spices) such as spring rolls, noodles and sea food
  • Visit the cool night markets and malls and take a joyride on a tuk-tuk
  • Where you will get a very good bargain, if you haggle nicely ;) (Bangkok being one of the major shopping hubs of the world)
