*Treasure Trove of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore: A small town near Bolpur in the Birbhum district, Shantiniketan is a university town, Visva-Bharati. Rabindranath Tagore founded an Ashram here in 1863 and became the initiator of the Brahmo Samaj.
