The town which was once the gateway to an ancient trade route to Ladakh, now serves as the the starting point for long distance rides to Leh and Ladakh. While Manali attracts hordes of expert mountain bikers who kick off their long distance rides from here, there are several popular local trails as well that are ideal for beginners to better their skills.
