Nainital : City of lakes

A Lake of 9 corners is a small hill station in the Nainital district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The lake is a hundred seventy-five feet deep and is located at 1220 Mts above sea level. It is surrounded by hills blanketed in bushes and shrubs. It is the deepest of all the lakes in the Nainital region. Naukuchiatal is blessed with panoramically splendid surroundings and pleasant weather throughout the year. It is a much better choice compared to nearby crowded hill stations like Nainital as it is less commercialized. The lake is located four km from Bhimtal, and 26 km from Nainital, 320 km from Delhi. The nearest railway station is Kathgodam.

✈By Air: The nearest airport is at Pantnagar (74 km), take a personal or shared cab from the airport in the direction of Naukuchiatal by Bhimtal.

🚆By Train: The nearest railhead is placed in Kathgodam (44 km), employ a non-public or shared cab from the railway station for Naukuchiatal.

🚕By Road: Naukuchiatal is nicely linked to all the most important cities and close by vacation locations like Nainital, Mukteshwar, Bhimtal, and Almora. Take a bus until Haldwani and then rent a non-public or shared cab in the direction of Naukuchiatal.

We selected the Nainital Adventure Parks & Resorts in Bhimtal District and really cherished it. We cherished the ecosystem at the Nainital Adventure Parks & resorts. With a lovely lake view and outstanding music, it was peaceful and perfect. The bathrooms were clean. The food was good. The housekeeping services were good.

Sattal

An onerous 2-hour drive was not the way I was expecting to begin a long drive to Sattal from Nakuchiyatal. But the minute we reached at Sattal, the exhaustion disappeared.

Further away, difficult to reach, and smaller than the others, Sattal is far less commercial however each and every bit as stunning as its close by lake sisters. With campsites rather than hotels, trekking spots rather than restaurants, Sattal is a must-visit if your vacation plan is back to nature.

If the vacationer in you has been in search of a composed region or the place you can unravel your actual senses, then Sattal would be your remaining destination. We spent 4 nights in Nakuchiyatal, followed by a drive to visit the nearby Sattal, and ended our trip. We found Naukuchiatal just as pretty, but far more modern.
