Day 1
Travelling a hundred and twenty five kilometers from gurgaon (or may be less), the journey was one of the shortest roadtrips one can have. A normal highway appearance of the nh8 was all that was required for giving me the journey feel. There were 2 tolls on the way to Neemrana and a total of about 250 was paid at the toll plazas for the roundtrip journey. We booked our stay at Golden Tulip resort while on the way from Make My Trip app and got a hefty discount for the night. Then upon reaching the resort it was an easy procedure. We dropped our bags, laid on the furniture, had a refreshing start again. We headed to the neemrana fort palace. Where upon reaching we came to know that the palace shuts down in the afternoon at around 2:30 before the lunch. The other timings for the entry were around 7pm for the dinner. We could still enter into the palace but we didnt. The reason being that the cost was pretty high(INR1900 pp) and we had already paid a good amount at the hotel. So we headed back to the hotel. While on the way back we did have some pizzas and sandwiches from a local shop, they were delicious and quite a bargain. Also we got some booze for a mini party at the hotel room(i'm sure most of you have tried). Upon reaching the beautiful resort, we headed straight away to the pool side area where we spent around an hour before finally getting back to the room. Dinner options are available in the resort itself. A total of three restaurants were there. Out of which one was the bikanerwala and the other two were in house. Altogether food was of the optimum mark and the ambience also. As soon after having the dinner and alcohol we slept.
