After a long time, my father decided to have some quality time and that's the part where the love for my parents increases. Yeah, that's really true. I hate it when I'm sitting idle in my room and scrolling through social media sites staring at pictures of people travelling around the world. Seeing our pity faces, one fine day my father decided to go on a trip. Nothing can be more amazing than a Summer Trip.

After the end of semester exams, the day came when we have to leave for the place where luxury can be endured - Dubai. Landing in Mumbai, from my place Raipur, I felt an adrenaline rush. Playlists updated and songs were on repeat. As soon as the formalities were completed and the seal of immigration was stamped on my passport, I started posting the check-in's in Facebook, after all the showbiz is where we survive. As per, it was my first complete family trip so I wanted to capture all the memories. Therefore, I carried my DSLR. It was a whole new experience to witness the International Airport Departure's. I was so aroused by the locale that I just forgot that we have to be present in our allotted departure gate 30 minutes before the boarding of flight. Lost in eating and enjoying, when our names were announced we rushed towards the departure gate. Phew !! Boarded at the last call.

Day 1

DUBAI - The first point of attraction was the Dubai International Airport. The world's sixth-busiest airport, where millions of passengers visit per year. To get the luggage we had to travel in a metro to reach the immigration and collect them. After a bit of struggle, got our cab driver who took us to the parking area. Trust me, Dubai has got everything that a person envisions. We had the cab ready and soon we entered the busiest streets with Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, DC and many grand cars with deadly speedometers. They are't even afraid of driving fast because they have rules that follows to move in a lane and the speed limiter can control the vehicles. Driving at such rapid speed isn't practiced by all. Roads and the skyscraper building startled.

After such a tiring journey, standing on the 16th floor of a huge building, fresh air meant nothing but hot air forming fogs on our glass windows. The hotel we stayed in "Burjuman Arjaan by Rotana" was a 23-storey building. As per the height of the building, our doors were auto-locked and we were not allowed to have fun on balcony, still the infrastructure of the room made us delighted. We were excited for our first destination. The first sight was "Marina Dhow Cruise". The cab came an hour late, which made us a bit impatient but we somehow managed to pass our time roaming in the streets. The cruise was a mini restaurant and had tables reserved for people to have their dinner peacefully. We had a palatable dinner and glance of the whole city through a ride, enjoying our food. The tall buildings shone like diamonds up in the sky. The river flows from the city and meets the Arabian Sea. The dimmed lights away from the city gives essence of refreshment. The city off-shore sleeps in the man-made beauty.

Day 2

We had to get ready by 9 in morning. After a hot water bath, I was all set for the breakfast till 8:30 a.m. The sun strokes were high as usual. The buffet had its cuisine ready for the morning breakfast. Our cab arrived by 9 and we were all set to leave. We had a city tour to Abu Dhabi. The view of the buildings standing tall, blocked the sun rays to fall on roads. United Arab Emirates (UAE) has 7 states. An amazing thing about travelling through all 7 states is that you get to discover difference in the color of roads in all 7 states. When we reached Abu Dhabi, the color of the road was slightly green. We saw all the palaces where the prince of the UAE and his wives resided, famous hotels, dockyards and harbors. The import/export plays a very important role in a deserted place. We also saw the World Trade Center (where the Fast and Furious series was shot).

The first place we visited in Abu Dhabi was "Sheikh Zayed Mosque". Its a beautiful mosque which has the tallest carpet made by 2000 blind girls. People from all around the world come to see their beautiful work. Its a huge mosque with golden tombs. The white shines in the sunlight and the gold flickers. Its situated in a very huge area and the almost 40,000 people can sit in a prayer hall together. The fountains and the architecture are eye-catching. The women are not allowed to enter the mosque without "Burkha" and a scarf covering their hairs. Its a religious belief they follow. So we got dressed up in Burkha looking unbelievable and completely different. The cultures and costumes people follow in different parts of the world makes the world so colorful. As soon as we entered the gate, even though it was so exciting, but the temperature troubled us. But after entering the mosque, the air conditioned rooms brought back our energy. We saw the embroidered carpet made by the girls. It was the soul of the mosque.

Now it was the time to visit the most thrilling and exciting theme park - Ferrari World Theme Park. The new models of Ferrari and the history of drivers who rode it and won medals were on display. The history was portrayed through various movies and exhibitions. The unbelievable part was that at the end of each exhibition came a ride like - Roller Coaster, Loop Riding, Track Riding, Go Karting etc. We started from a 5D Movie. The cluster of rides began ae we entered the building. The first ride was Turbo Track. It was a 30 second ride and breathtakingly horrifying. The next was Flying Aces - the tallest loop in the world. This loop was the most treacherous as we were unaware of the ride. We reached the ride following the exhibition. After waiting for almost 5 minutes, the doors opened. Although we entered removing all our loose belongings, we didn't knew about the ride. The moment it started I realized that we were going through the most stupendous experience ever. The screams and shouts made me numb. It was a savage. After coming back, my breath was almost stuck and the heart pounding as fast as it can. No ride was as deadly as the loop. We even had a roller coaster ride. We didn't wanted to leave that place but unfortunately everyday was up with their own thrilling adventures. So we left with a pretty goodbye.

At night we found a good Indian Restaurant nearby named "Jalebiwala". We had our dinner in the restaurant. All night I dreamed about what next is up for us.

Day 3

Day to offshore !! We almost woke up at 7 in the morning. We decided to enjoy in the hotel pool, as the temperature was too hot and unbearable for us. Only my Dad knew how to swim and we were just learners trying to swim. After enjoying the pool and a delightful breakfast, the cab was ready to leave for The Palm Beach. We packed our luggage and sat in the cab to reach our most luxurious destinations. After crossing the Internet City, we headed forward to The Palm. After checking in, we admired the beautiful architecture of THE ATLANTIS. The huge poles and fountains grabbed the attention. Many people from different countries were busy exploring minor details on the wall.

Entering the rooms, my heart gladdened because finally we had a balcony which wasn't locked. The view from my balcony was mesmerizing. The rooms were divided in two towers EAST and WEST. My room was in East Tower. Soon we visited Aquaventure Water park. We dressed ourselves accordingly. Huge water rides and many adventurous rides grabbed our attention. The single and group slides where the most enjoyable ones. The best was the hotel tour that we had sitting in a tube and just flowing with the river like waves which gave us the feeling of rafting. The whole concept of this water park was so enjoyable. The Dolphin Bay was the center of attraction.

After the whole tiring day, we visited The Lost Chambers Aquarium. Varieties of fishes and marine life present there delighted me. The huge glass windows in the middle of the east tower attracted tourists where we can watch people diving and can also dive inside the aquarium. I don't know diving that was the worst part for me. Various shops and the essence of perfumes made me buy some very strong smelling perfumes. The beauty of the hotel is what attract tourists the most. The alluring infrastructure and heavenly architecture attracts thousands of people daily. We had our dinner in Kaleidoscope which was a huge buffet having cuisines of 5-6 countries.

Day 4

It was a damn lazy day but anyhow we had to enjoy in the pool. Perhaps, the Royal Beach and the Royal Pool had so many people relaxing and enjoying. We had our breakfast and went straight to the pool side. The beach had so many small fishes trying to escape from naked bodies. Entering the pool, my body got rejoiced. I swam there for more than 3 hours playing with the foreign kids who were swimming better than me. We had to checkout from Atlantis at almost 12 pm.

Checking-in our old hotel Burjumaan Arjaan we got the 10th floor rooms this time. It was 5 in the evening when we had to leave for Dubai Mall because it was time to catch sight of the tallest building in the world The Burj Kalifa. The 160 storey-buliding standing tall, startled by its beauty, we got our passes to see the life at the top. The visitors are allowed to visit till 125th floor. Experiencing the most stunning lift ever, we reached the 125th floor in a minute exactly. The view though, nothing can be more beautiful than this man made city. The lights and building all seemed like blocks of various shapes. I could keep that image in my mind for life time. It was such an unforgettable and astonishing view. At 7 pm the fountains right below the building started dancing with the beats. The most beautiful show ever. This was all like my dream come true.

Day 5

The day for which we were so excited - The Desert Safari. It was ought to be exciting because I never experienced a ride in desert. We certainly had to get ready by 3 pm. Our cab driver arrived in a Land Cruiser. The desert was in the outskirts of the city. We visited a checkpoint first where we could refresh ourselves due to unavailability of toilets in the desert. The moment we entered the desert, it felt so thrilling. The Arabic music made the aura more rejoiced. The high walls of sand frightened and amazed us at the same time. We were instructed to tighten our seat belts because we were about to begin the ride where we had to cross various mountains of sand dunes. The rise and fall was mind-blowing. It was the most hilarious ride in my life. We reached our destination where the tents were set for the Barbeque Dinner. Various other rides like Dune Bashing, Camel Rides, Quad Bike were available. Beautiful sand art and Heena mehendi attracted the tourists. The sunset was pleasant. Although this wasn't enough there was Tanoura dance performance for entertainment followed by the Barbeque Dinner with some delicious cuisines. No day can be as perfect as this day.

Day 6

The last day in my dream city. We had a well planned schedule for the day. It was probably a City Tour day in a luxurious bus. The first destination for the day was "Dubai Museum" situated in the old Dubai. The museum had the information about how Dubai became the most richest city in the world with its trade and import/exports business and the discovery of oil. The livelihood of people hundreds of years ago was simple in the land having just sand and water. Dubai museum is considered to be the oldest building, yet remains beautiful and is situated in the middle of the market in the mainland.

The nest destination was the Oriental World, where the antiques of the city were stored and kept in secured environment and hence its restricted to take our camera inside. The place had different craft works and the most attractive were the carpets made of golden threads. We were allowed to purchase those art works if we desired. The guide instructed us about the various artworks.

The next best place was Burj Al Arab. It was the 3rd largest hotel in the world with posh dining and suites. Its situated in the beach area and is said to have 3 -4 floors underwater. It had its own private beach. It even has a sky bar which has the view of the sky. The glance of this beautiful hotel made me realize that human efforts and money can do wonders if used properly. The scorching heat couldn't let us wait there for more than 20 minutes. The view of hotel was all we could get to see.

We again had the tour to the Palm Beach. As it was included in the city tour. This time the guide informed us about the bungalows owned by celebrities like David Beckham, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan's Office in Dubai. The Underwater tunnel to reach Atlantis had the sign of the Palm Beach carved in its walls. The Internet City was another big place which had all the renowned IT companies from all across the world. Showrooms of branded automobiles and gadgets were eye-catching. Soon, we reached back to our hotel.

The last destination for the day was Ski Dubai. Its situated in Mall of Emirates and is one of the biggest indoor skiing resort. Being the last place of the trip, I had this thought in my mind to enjoy as much as I can. The chilling temperature completely froze my senses. Still the things that I could see was snow rides, giant balls, snowboards and slides. Amazing skates and rides can never be unseen and undone. The slides were incredible. The arena had slopes for the people with skateboards and skiing skills. I just enjoyed watching them from a distance. The rope way helped us in having a glance of the whole ski resort. I never had so much fun in any snow park. The kids also had small snow castles and snowmen. The handshake from penguins delighted children. After 3 hours when body parts almost froze we came out of that place. Hence a sign of relief.

We finally reached the airport to catch out flight. Luggage more heavier with chocolates and gifts for relatives and friends. I knew that I had the best experience in my life. The dream come true thing was coming to an end. All I wanted to do was capture those images in my eyes forever. This was my best trip ever. I hope to visit this place again and explore more and more of this alluring city. Suggesting my readers, do visit this place once. It will be a lifetime experience.
