Team is excited and backpacked to explore Chandrashila and Kedarnath trek.
Tempo Traveller booked a week ago.
To our surprise the travel agent informed us there is no vehicle left for our booking and can only be available tomorrow.
As the time is passing the plan is considered to be flopped but thanks to the willingness of team we make our move of reaching ISBT Delhi without waisting any time.
Any how we managed to get a bus to Haridwar at 2:30 AM.
7:15 AM
Boarded the bus from Haridwar to Rudraprayag. Roads are to be four lane and a smooth drive but not for us, thanks to the work of all season road project ( future will be 4 hour drive to Gaurikund).
The 7 hour journey would be tiring if we would not have our funniest members with some fights and food.
3:30 PM
Booked a cab from Rudraprayag to Chopta. As we enter the wilderness of Mountains, team is stunned with the beauty and obviously the cold.
Onroad chai and Maggie some songs and pics supported us to not to feel tired from a 2:30 hours journey.
Hotel rooms are packed and visitors are roaming around in search of shelter. Cancellation of any booking can only be the hope of getting a room and that’s what happened.

2 AM
Started our trek to Chandrashila with torch lights and some warm woollens.
Freezing morning and some beginners made the travel bit difficult but we managed to reach before 6AM at Chandrashila.
Eyes are waiting to see the magical sunrise on Himalayan peaks.
And there we see the Mother Earth’s play of colours, beauty and mesmerising Himalayas. Water bottles by now are frozen and with some memorable clicks we made our way back to Tungnath.
2PM
You will not find a govt vehicle from Chopta to Sonprayag, the best way to travel is to book a taxi and that’s what we have done.
Journey of 3 hours is bit hectic with some team members being sick and tired. The plan is to reach early and take some rest.
Plans goes accordingly and we reach there at 5 PM.
Days end with bath in Tapt kund and then some food with no onion and garlic.
5AM
We started at 5 in the morning for Kedarnath hoping to see some snow fall as it was told by some locals that 2PM is the regular time of snowfall from last 2-3 days.
With some good pics and people tired we reach there at 2PM.
Once we have done the darshan and out of temple, here we see the snowfall.
With BABA’s grace all or plan get well executed and we were back to Delhi with some amazing views and memories in mind which we will cheris lifetime.
