Splash of colours swaying to the music of wind with prayer flags tied to a string. Drifting clouds play peek-a-boo from behind the hills. The mountains are scant with cloud covering them in a thick cottony envelop of mist clearing just enough at times to show a hint of the beautiful snow-capped mountain ranges of Kanchenjunga. Pockets of cantonments assuring you of your safety and wellbeing. Curvilinear roads cutting through the thicket of trees winding into slithering patterns of a snake. A profusion of green that brings a sense of enchantment to the journey. A journey that takes you to the land of Nepali speaking, Lepcha speaking people with a cheerful face and affectionate heart. As you travel through this beautiful land of tea estates and small streaming waterfalls you feel an overwhelming sense of being in an adventure were stories of Gulliver’s travels and Robinson Crusoe start coming to life. So we started our journey with steaming cup of Tami tea and day full of hope.
