This is much more than what meets the eye. I was standing at least 15 metres away from any of these rocks in the picture. I was standing on a bridge admiring this beautiful landscape with only 15% battery left in my phone. It is the same bridge that you can see in my highlight for Den-thlen waterfalls. These rocks were huge in size with very unique structure. The water was crystal clear just like my thoughts when I decided to come to backpack across north east India. Everyone says water is odourless but from my experience the water from these plains tastes like Nectar that detoxifies your whole body. When I was in school, I studied that Cherrapunji is the place with highest rainfall throughout the year. When I was there, I experienced it myself because It’s always raining in these plain but not heavy rain but it’s like rain shower all the time. There was another waterfall that I wanted to cover. It was Nohkalikai waterfall but unfortunately when I was on the way my scooter gave up and then I took help from the local villages who help me out and ask me to return to avoid any issues as it was getting darker with every passing minute. So, I decided to back and cover it on next trip the North East India. Sometimes, it is good to be wise than a crazy traveller stuck somewhere. Nohkalikai waterfall has a very interesting story that I will be share in the next post. Until then, stay connected with #hellotravelo
