A time back in dreams, green fields and Stone Age Mountains. Life here loves to get lost embracing the colour green. This is the trip I will remember beyond space, time and consciousness. A few kilometers from Bengaluru I was at Hampi in the midst of old Vigyanagar dynasty. The place is just beyond words it’s a Jurassic park or place from a different planet, sky as a canvas.
Green padded fields with odd shape big rocky mountains stones so big and round in shape each one of them appears to be spaceships parked at different locations, a small trek around these mountains every time landed me to a place which is just beyond words.
I stayed here for 11 days and the place still feels like a dream to me. If you are here then you can’t afford to miss the sunset and sunrise. During sunset I would usually find myself getting lost with the sky and the wind on a top of a rocky mountain.
This trip gave me new dimensions to see life and know people, when generally talking about people I would say I made some good friends here too one of them is Benjamin and his music. He runs a small café where he and his wife cooks some awesome south Indian food. The café has no fixed menus it’s just love on the cards.
Benjamin a great musician sitting with him and strumming guitar was my usual stuff during the time I stayed here. Karnatic to Israeli to some old classical hits we just sat smoked joints and sang songs of love.
My days just went riding a moppet around the village and almost discovering a new place everyday. If you are here then do catch up the view of this serene place from a top of a mountain where you can almost see the Vigyanagar ruins spreading across.
Hampi a place frozen in time a story untold and unexplained, life in Hampi if defined, then I would say it as a music note strumming its beautiful notes and in sync with it the mother nature paints the sky with colours of love. Now it’s a beautiful story for me so I will keep on adding few more till that time Adios!
