It is one of the best memorable trips that I have experienced so far. Sitting literally in the lap of mother nature, network free zone, inhaling snow and exhaling calmness is how I can describe the place.
The trip starts from the place called Kasol in Himachal Pradesh where you can find Israeli food, German bakeries, a small market and stays .
After that you can lead towards Tosh, a small village which has some very good views and cafes like Pink Floyd cafe where you can sit , smoke,eat and chill. You will be mesmerized in the music, play cards or do whatever you want. You can even spot the clear image of Milky way in the sky at night with the snowy mountains in the view.
Another way is the most beautiful one, Kheerganga. It's a 14 km trek starts from a beautiful Green lake. The way is so beautiful and luckily became more beautiful for us. You have to take your speakers, some eatables and move into the forest ways combining with waterfalls and adventures. It started snowing on the way when we started and literally it added a cherry on the cake. When you reach at the top, there are tents and a common area where all people sit down, tune into music, talk to each other, meditate or in simple words, relax.
Adding more to the beauty, head to the top and amidst the snow you will find a natural hot water spring to bath where the natural hot water will come from the mountains.
Just imagine the scene when it's snowing outside and you are inside the natural hot water spring!!
An amazing trek and a wonderful place that one should experience at least once. Om Namay Shivay!
