Me and my friend where planning something for new year but i wasn't interested in partying home so i said i might plan a trip to hampi. After listening to me she was so thrilled to come with me, so we made plans but are parents were not ready to send us alone so we asked few of our school friends to join and even they were ready. So i took the responsibility of planning the entire journey from sawantwadi to hampi.
I booked the train tickets from belgaum to hospet. For 29th December 2019 and return tickets on 1st December 2019 and jungle tree resort for 2 nights
Journey day 29th December 2019 sunday
We drove a car till belgaum and parked it there. We had our train by 12:05 pm. So we left early from sawantwadi and reached belgaum by 10:30.
Our train was almost on time. Kolhapur murg Express. We had done heavy breakfast and thought we would eat something in train but sadly no good food was available everyone was excited playing having fun. And then i found the option to order food online in the train through IRTC app from which i booked the tickets from. I ordered dominos pizzas and they arrived in hubli. It was really a good service !
We reached hospet exactly by 7:30 pm . After getting down we took a bus from station to busstand communicating with locals. They were really very helpful to us, we had to go to anegundi village outskirts of hampi. We took another bus to bukkasagara. And thought we will take auto from there. Again the locals were of real help they guided us so well. We got down to bukkasagar it was so dark no street lights, no auto and drunkard on the streets we all were terrified and as per the goggle maps we started walking towards the bridge thinking it ll be a mile away and luckily we got the lift till anegundi which was real adventure and fun.
He dropped us till anegundi and called some of his friend who was auto driver and dropped us to our resort. Jungle tree in rangapur village. We got freshened up and had a nice dinner and slept early as we were tired of traveling and had plans the next day.
