After breakfast, begin the climb towards the open meadow, and after about two hours, the treeline starts to thin out. After a sharp ascent over boulders, you will reach a vast meadow where you will set up camp for the night. This is going to be different camping experience as you will get to see Mt. Hanuman Tibba and many peaks of the Dhauladhar range on one side. Relish your dinner around a bonfire and spend the night in your tents.

Duration: 3 - 4 hour

Start the hike across the open meadow after early breakfast. The trek is all open and vast and is excellent to walk on. You can experience snow-covered spots since the snow rarely melts there, even during summers. The trek is full of alpine flowers and soft alpine vegetation. You will reach the last campsite by a glacial stream, which is one of the most stunning places in this journey. Camp here for the night with a bonfire by the stream.

Duration: 7 - 8 hour

Have your breakfast and trek for about 45 minutes to reach the first lake Batarunaag Saur. Vasukinaag Saur is just a short walk away from here. Walk a little more, and you will get to one of the most beautiful glacial lakes, Futta Saur. During rains, you can expect many other smaller lakes which seem to cover the entire range. Trek in alpine style to the lakes, the terrain is not suitable for camping due to its rocky nature. The tents will be pitched a short distance before the lakes for the same reason. Trek back down directly to camp 2 for the night.
