Johari Bazaar and Baapu Bazzar are the two local markets of the city where you can find modern and traditional silver jewellery. Drape yourself in the lovely bandhani dupattas, swirl around in the skirts and suits and check out the Mojaris (Punjabi juttis) and quilts available at the quaint shops.

Eat

Le Meridien Hotel and Fairmont Hotel are the best options to choose from when looking for a leisure stay. Have lunch, rest for a bit and then head to the local markets. On your way to the markets, stop at the Jal Mahal and witness the beauty of a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake.

Shop

Try the Paneer Ghewar, Dal and Onion Kachoris at Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar, famously known as LMB which is one of the most popular sweet shops in the city. Other than that eat some snacks and don’t stuff yourself as you are in for a treat at Chowki Dhani.

The village experience

20 minutes away from Baapu Bazaar is Chowki Dhaani. Chowki Dhani is set up like a typical Rajasthani Village. There is fun and frolic for the children and scrumptious Marwari food for everyone else. Everything in this village screams ‘fun’.

Watch the magic show, get your palm read, take a horse and camel ride, dance with the Kalbelia dancers, go on the giant wheel and then find your way back in to the village through a maze. Later when you get tired of participating in all these activities, make yourself comfortable at the dinner area where you would be served Daal-bati churma, kichda, Gatte ki Subzi and many more delicacies which will keep coming your way without any breaks!

Call it a night

Head back to your hotel and sleep tight; there is a lot to see before you leave back for Delhi, the next day. The Volvo leaves at 12:30 pm. Make sure you visit the Amber Fort.

Places to see

The second fort is Jaigarh where in lies the largest cannon in the country. This fort is also known as the fort of victory.

The last fort is Amber Fort and it is known for Shila Mata Temple, Jas Mandir and the Sheesh Mahal. With this your trip comes to an end and you have seen the most of Jaipur if not everything!
