Day 1

Who else like to explore the flora and fauna of Misty Kodaikanal. Here i give you an easy and pocket friendly delighted trip to Queen of Hills Kodaikanal.
Things that would make your trip more exciting.
1.Water bottle (why spend money on mineral water bottle. Fill up the bottle with fresh water )
2.Single fleece bedsheet or blanket. It won't need much space.
3.Mini speakers
4.One good powerful chill playlist 🥰
Thats all, You will enjoy your trip. (You can carry the comfortable things of yours, its upto you 😉)

Yea i started my journey from Kannur to Coimbatore. I had 3 of my friends with me Farhan, Preji and the latest breakup boy Safan. 😉
We actually comes from different places. Our meetup point was Coimbatore junction. Our aim was to reach Coimbatore junction by 1pm. Coz there is one local train from Coimbatore junction to Palani everyday at 1.30pm. It costs around 20rs only to reach Palani. You could reach Palani by evening 5pm. By a walkable distance of 1km there you can see the Palani Busstand, where you can find bus to kodaikanal. You will be having a bus at 6pm from kodaikanal. It cost 60rs per head to reach kodaikanal.
The next main thing everyone would worry about is the room. You can find rooms either by reaching there or through online. People will come to you with affordable rooms only if you bargain. Or else if you are a backpacker the best option is Zostel. But it would cost you around 1000 for two nights. There are also other hostels through booking.com or Hostelworld. But i assure you zostel would be the best option if you are the person who looks for a comfortable space. Or else if you are there just for chilling there are many other options with beautiful scienic views. Anyway we got our room for 2000rs for 4 people from a local guy that we met near Kodaikanal Lake. That means 500rs for two night per head 🥰

Day 2

We wokeup early coz we slept early 🥴
The morning experience here is something different. We went for a walk with our speakers and prejis bedsheet 😅. I have seen flowers before. Many of kind. But this was something special. Everything was more colourful and charming than before. Maybe its coz of the misty weather of kodaikanal that gives this beauty for the flowers. We walked through the garden, i have stopped at different spots thinking why didn't i see all this before. After a long walk we just camped under a shade of a tree which gives us a beautiful view of the hills. There was no network coverage for the phone so we people were so alive. And it was the most beautiful part of the trip.
If you wanna head to Dolphin nose which is one exotic viewpoint. There will be shared taxis or bus available nearby the Lake. It won't cost you much.
The best part of our trip was the food. There was only one small shop near our stay. It was run by two aunties. They made us some real homely food for us. It was even tastier when preji made a magical egg curry 😀
It was so cold so we decided to make a campfire with some good music. We even had plan for the barbecue but after some situations we couldn't do it 😅

Day 3

Woke up late and we went directly to kodaikanal lake after packing our bags. We spent some time there and headed to bus stand. There was one bus at 3.15pm from kodaikanal to Palani which cost 60rs per head. From there their is two trains available either to shornur junction or to Coimbatore junction. It only costs around 70 even if its an express train. Try to visit the Palani temple if you have time between this. Thats all about a simple but  memorable kodaikanal trip. When you are in groups its not about the place but about the people that makes the travel worth remembering.
'And you don't have to be rich to travel well.
Richness comes from experiences. '

You can ask me more. I will try helping out.
