It was a 3 days short trip in September 2019. I started my trip at 8 am from Bangalore with my family, tried to skip the usual monday morning Bangalore traffic however no one can escape the legendary silk board. Took the hosur road and at sharp 9am i was at the Karnataka - Tamil Nadu border. It was an amazing drive of 657 km via Madurai. We reached pamban bridge at 6:10 pm taking multiple breaks. The scenic beauty makes the drive pleasant and the amazing road made our journey very comfortable.
Day 2 - After visiting Ramanathaswamy temple we left for Dhanushkodi, it is known as the ghost town and the last land of Indian border with Sri Lanka. Dhanushkodi, the “lost land” of Tamil Nadu is the best place you can plan a short trip. This serene island provides best picturesque view, this barren strech of land will take you to the state of calm. Post visiting Dhanushkodi we left for Madurai to visit the famous Meenakshi temple.

Day 3 - Left from Madurai at 11 am and after driving 440 kms via Salem we reached Bangalore at 6 pm.
