Day 1

Few years back, as many of us till date will quote,
I referred to the two days of Patriotism celebrated in exhilarating excitement in India, one of them being the Republic Day.
Just like most others I too felt disillusioned with the show of Patriotism..
But then..
Last year, on June 7 th,
I visited Wagha Border..
Where the spirit of Patriotism doesn't die throughout the year..
I was surprised to see the excitement, zeal and energy running through all those present while the friendly ceremony was going on..

I was startled to hear the loud cheering of the crowd for an hour who didn't want the sound and fury from the other side of the line to reach this side..

I stood there in amazement to watch hundreds of countrymen dancing in a frenzy to the patriotic songs that were playing on the road to Wagha Border..And we all were equally invited to join the celebrations.

The Ceremonial Exchange between the soldiers of both the countries is enough to send chill down your spines and we remain glued to the grounds, holding our breaths for the fear of disturbing the rhythm in motion.

The Crowd dancing to the patriotic spirit is a daily affair

The audience is ever on increase and are ever enthusiastic to participate

It once again felt like a scene from the Republic Day programme at Rajpath..

With the only difference, For them, IT'S A DAILY AFFAIR..

Spirit of Patriotism doesn't die here, But lingers on throughout the year..

My Salute to this spirit..
Which disillusioned me altogether, once again..
And it is a must have experience of lifetime..
