Day 1
Road trips are often serene, the roads, the music, the fun, the excitement. But what the destination had to offer, was serendipity to me. Malshej Ghat, a mountain pass in the western ghats, has some great views and waterfalls. It is close from mumbai and pune as well and will get you there in 2-3 hrs.
For now, let the photos do the talking.
The best time to visit is during the rainy season as there are numerous waterfalls, some of them falling directly on the roads while you pass by. The atmosphere was soothing, wind was all music to the ears, and it was little bit foggy.
All in all, it is definitely worth a visit and be prepared for a fun weekend getaway.
