Why I prefer staying at a hostel

Hey there travelers! I am going to keep this one short. So the first time someone suggested that we stay at a hostel instead of a resort I threw a major fit but since I stayed at one I just can't stop raving about it. So below I list down a few reasons why you need to consider staying at an hostel instead of a hotel/resort next time you go on a vacation

1) They are Budget friendly :
Hostels usually provide the same facilities as resorts for far lesser price. For example our hostel in Kasol Whopper cost us 200 a bed that was by a river.

2) They are great places to meet people:
You meet a great lot of travelers at hostel some in groups some solo who are eager to mingle and come packed with interesting stories and also great suggestions for places to visit next. The common rooms that every hostel have is just a hoot.

3) Some hostels are pet friendly :
Who doesn't want to take their best friend along for a trip? And hostels being as accommodating as they are, allow you to bring your best friend.

4) Hostel Managers provide you genuine suggestions to help you with your trip:
Ever go to a resort and take suggestion from the staff? Do they guide you to the points which is super crowded and shops that they get commissions from? Hostel Managers don't do that.

5) Some hostel provide couple friendly rooms :
Worried about your privacy? Just call up and ask if the hostel is couple friendly.
