As part of my journey in exposing the Hidden destinations within the UAE, The secret beach of khorfakkan is added to the list.
The reason we call it a secret beach is that there is no automobile access to this place. The only possibility to get there is by hiking for 3 kilometers. We had to cross a huge mountain to get there. Hike starts from a farm located at one point of khorfakkan. Approximately 1.5 km of each ascend and descend. The mountain is rocky and there are loose rocks and bouldering part. On reaching the top point, the view is so amazing that one side is beach and other side is the city of fujeirah. Our hike day was raining and we got to see few small water falls on the way.
Descending part was a bit difficult because rocks were slippery from rains. On reaching down to the beach, we discovered the place was maintained very well by hikers that we couldn't find any plastics or trash other than the sea wastes. One of the most beautiful place for camping too. No mobile network available. Only the sounds of waves and wind. I would recommend this place for those who need a break from city and Social life hussle.
