15th September 2017- left college by 12 30 pm right after morning section lectures straight to home did the back packing striking the things from the checklist. All set to catch the train from koch veli railway station(koch veli express- Koch veli to bangalore)

Off to pangong lake started by morning 8. Crossed changla by 12 it is the second highest pass in the world one being the mighty khardungla ,reached pangong by 4pm that mesmerizing view of sunset in pangong. The water is so cold that you can feel yourself fresh in each touch!. Stay was arranged in a tent next to the lake, with food and hot water. Stargazing from pangong really a visual treat for eyes. By 11 30 night the entire lights will be off and will be able to view the mesmerizing view of the sky above us!. The next big thing in pangong is the sunrise from the mountains behind.

Pangong to nubra valleys is about 4 to 5hr the roads are not as good, there are in between some patches that will take time to cover. By reaching diskit sand dunes on the either side of roads can be seen. All terrain vehicle rides are there charging 800 rs for a few spins. Reached nubra valley by 3 pm, The famous two humbed camel rides will be available for experiencing till 6 pm in nubra. Stay was in hunder wachan guest house! Wonderful place. Traditional dances of ladakh is a main travel attraction in hunder.

Turtuk is a land of pureness with its immense beauty and its own culture. People of turtuk are very friendly with them finding the time and effort in explaining there part of life from being a part of a huge kingdom to being shattered by the pakistan. You will find your way through the small village of turtuk easily. Don't miss to try the apricot products and museum. guest houses are easily available in turtuk.

Mighty as it is, temperature here during the day can be as cold a 0 degree this time of september, Getting back to leh from hunder through khardungla is tricky journey takes almost 4hrs to get from hunder to khardung la and more 32km to leh city. Admire the Mighty Khardung la take the steps slow. drink a cup of tea at the chilling temperature enjoying the view from ktop.

local sightseeing might sound timekiller, but not on ladakh it's the one that you must do in leh city. with a large number of markets streets and people its one must thing that completes any leh ladakh trip. Wide variety of local handicraft products you might find it vay overpriced. Ladakh is a huge direct market for pashmina shawl materials, with enough knowledge you might find your perfect deal here.

Shanti Stupa situated with less than 6 to 7 km from the leh city. It is a stupa encarved with the different life stages of the buddha. plan such a way that you can experience the sunset from the santhi stupa. Clam environment for a little meditation.

Built by Sengge Namgyal in the 16th century. Its one of an important landmark in leh city, built into different levels each providing a better view of the leh city. Diffenet cultural and traditional exhibits take place inside the palace. Photographs and ancient antiques are exhibited here.

42km from leh less than a hour away is the famous hemis gompa. Where the famous hemis festival is hoisted. Hemis gompa showcases the history of Namgyal dynasty. great place to go if you are seeking for different Tibetan culture in ladakh.

located in the valleys of Indus river, thikse gomba adds more to the beauty of ladakh. The view of thikse gompa from the leh manali highway is eye catching. Thikse gompa has a statue of Maitreya Buddha (future Buddha) which is of two storage high.

While going from leh to sangam point you can cover the magnetic hill and Hall of frame museum of Indian army.

On the way to Hunder there is a small village called diskit, famous for Diskit gompa.

Changla la is the second highest pass in the world, you can cover chanla while travelling from leh to pangong.

Places i couldn't cover.

Hanle is a village in the borders of china, This is one place that you should add. Is the home for Indian Astronomical observatory.

Alchi is a village in ladakh known for its Buddhist remains and origins.

Tso Moriri is a lake 240km from leh city. With its immense natural beauty its a place you want to stay forever.

Day 2

16th September 2017- Nothing new train was 45 min late reached krishnarajapuram by 10 am. Typical bangalore hours had started took auto to stay in bangalore at friends place, busy days it will be with the bangalore traffic we had to be two step ahead to keep in checklist time. Decathlon its always there for sports and adventure related solutions, trekking shoes, thermal wears done ! off to lunch and by 6pm it was fly time off to airport-(BLR-DELHI-LEH)

Day 3

The Crown jewel- Ladakh

17th september 2017-

Flying above those snow covered high mountains landed by 7am off to raybo hostel stay in leh. Steping out of the airport, that feeling of breathlessness and chillness the begining of a toatlly new experience. 350rs for cab from airport to hostel, which was less than 30min far. joined the rest of team.

Day 4

18th september 2017-

The acclimatization day! it will take to more than 2 min to make 10 steps in the 1st days in ladakh,taking things slow !

Some acclimatization tips

Keep hydration levels in your body proper.

Stay away from anti-depressant drugs, alcohol, smoking and tobacco.

Not sleep during the day.

Carry preventive medication.
