Started Day 1 from Bangalore to cover a total of 2500 km to Delhi . Divided the journey in multiple stops and did the max travel on first day .
Started from Bangalore at 4:00 am and travelled approx 800 km to Pune . Reached Pune by 7:00 pm .
Stayed there for night .
Started from Pune to Statue of Unity , we were most excited to see the statue and explore how that whole place is build up . Covered approx 500 km , and reached Ramada at around 5 Pm
Rested and changed to explore the night at the statue of unity premises .
Its close to vadodra and Ahmedabad so a lot of day time visiter , they have all kind stay options as well , budget / midrange / luxury .
Went to ekta mall and had gujrati thali dinner at ekta food court .
The arrangement was really great . Went for walk on banks of narmada river and great night lights all around .
Today waa the day to explore all that statue of unity has to offer .
Booked our tickets online a month ago , and also took the first slot at 8 am . it was best decision to go early we were able to explore the museum abd statue at our own pace and without crowd .
You can't take vehicle inside , its gets parked at enterance and you take ac buses to go everywhere inside . Download there app to get better idea of where to go , where to eat .
After spending more than 2 hours at statue of unity went to the jungle safari , it looked inspired by Singapore zoo . Very well maintained and still some portion are being build up . Took again 2 hours to cover entirely .
Cane hotel rested and went to dam first in evening
The best part of the whole experience was the light and sound show at 6 pm at statue of unity.
DON'T MISS IT , go early to get the best seat as it gets crowded aa well .
It was the best way to end the day at statue of unity .
There are lot of other things you can do , as we were there only for a day so didn't get to do all the things
Off to next stop , started morning 5 am to Udaipur , the roads are not NH but state highway so busy .
It was 400 km and we reached udaipur by 3 pm
After resting went for sunset view at Fateh Sagar Lake
Beautiful sunset view , great street food to enjoy and walk around . you can even do boat ride .
This was queens garden , well maintained and good to go and explore in evening .
Had dinner here , great food but expensive . great lake view and always booked so do make a prior booking .
This day to explore Udaipur , we ditched the car and used the auto to explore this beautiful city .
First stop was city palace , we took a guide and it took almost 2-3 hours to cover the palace.
Totally tired with the tour , do wear comfortable cloths and shoes .
Its almost a 100 year old temple just outside the palace .
Had dinner here , great food , view and vibe .
Its a great spot for evening view on lake .
Had dinner near Ambrai Ghat , great rooftop restaurant around that place .
End the day in Udaipur at this beautiful ghat on Lake Pichola . Great vibe and popular tourist spot .
Udaipur was simply stunning with respect to people , food , hospitality , tourist spots and weather .
Started for Jaipur from Udaipur , we have explored jaipur multiple times so wanted to do something different there and we found a leopard park there in middle of city
The safari can be booked online , it costed around 400 rs per person . there are around 40 leopard and some deer species there along with birds .
It is awesome and we were lucky to see leopard Rana . started safari at 3:30 and finished at 6:30 pm
We booked Double tree Hilton amer for tye night stay and it was a great choice .
Great day and last day of Roadtrip started with amazing breakfast buffet .
We started for Delhi at 9 am and reached by 2 pm
This trip was great trip and made me grateful for our country .
So much to explore , so much diversity in food language culture , it make me feel proud to be Indian and being able to get to do this kind of travel .
