Listed by the 21-year old, Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, the proceeds of this initiative will go towards supporting rural women’s empowerment through the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation, named after his mother. With a belief that tourism and heritage should go hand in hand, the first royal to invite travelers to stay at his palace, wants to offer the classic Indian hospitality experience to others.

Although the suite is priced at $8000 (Rs 5,72,756) per night, it will be available at a special inaugural price of $1000 (Rs 71,532) per night on Airbnb till 1st January 2020. The difference amount will be covered by Airbnb till then as a contribution to the foundation.
