I've reached pondy at around 8 AM in the morning.
Got down and dropped my luggage in my room and left to explore.
First of all the things I was really interested in seeing the JIPMER college, one of the best medical colleges in India.
Then I've left for some sightseeing
• Breakfast
• Auroville - it is meditation centre with historical importance
• Auroville beach
• Lunch
•
•Rock beach (or the promenade beach) - to enjoy the view, have a walk and roam around.
• Dinner and back to room
• wake up at 5'o clock get ready for some adventure
• the main point in visiting pondy is for its beautiful sunrise
• my suggestion would be to visit Serenity beach or Rock beach for the sunrise and take an amazing time lapse of the sunrise.
After lunch make sure to keep some time for the amazing french colony aka the white town showcasing the french architecture.
• Aurobindo ashram is a must visit place
• the beautiful houses and cafes of the white town leaves you mesmerizing
• Also do visit some Churches and one the important one is the Basilica of heart of Jesus.
• The fried pizzas are a speciality of pondy
Have a wonderful boating experience in the world's second largest mangroves.
The best time to visit it is after the lunch and spend some valuable time with your beloved.
• it is a private beach with numerous activities like beach volleyball, football and an excellent view of the sea.
