Every country has its own charm, its own feel, its own way of living and surviving. The architecture of the temples is what you see everywhere in form of temple, sculptors on the road or even minute ones at home. Beyond the temples is the tropical climate which has not only made everything around green but also has bestowed it with numerous waterfalls. And it does have its share of beaches, wherever there are beaches there are cafes and party.

Bali became a famous destination probably after Eat Pray Love. I am happy to have visited it this year because day by day the place is gaining popularity much because of its affordability and the diversity that it has to offer.I spent about 10 days in Bali in July this month and another 2 days in Gilli T islands . Went to a lot of beaches, waterfalls, did a trek, did a tea tasting session, went to temples, a couple of hikes and last but not the least had plenty of food.

I list down the best among all the things to do :

1)Beaches : If you are a beach and party person you should definitely go to Gilli T islands, a 2 hour ferry ride from Bali. However if you have fewer days you could enjoy the beach and cafe scene at Seminyak area. Seminyak is little costly and you could be at Kuta, it would suit your pockets. However don’t miss out the Rock Bar in Jimbaran. The beach here at Jimbaran was one of the best beaches.

2) Waterfalls: I stayed in Ubud and Kuta area and moved all around Bali. There are a lot of waterfalls, in fact amazing waterfalls and if time permits you should definitely go to all of them: Tenguyan waterfall, Gitgit waterfall,Belsinga waterfall and tukad cepunng must be in your list.

3)Treks: Even if you are not a trekker , you should not miss out the midnight trek to Mount Batur Volcano, it will be your chance to see an amazing sunrise and also experiencing a volcano. This trek inspired me to do one trek in each country i visit.

4)Temples in Bali:

I think your trip in bali would never end without being to at least 4 to 5 temples. Each temple is unique and the journey to the temple is also unique. The temples here are knows as pura,A Pura is a Balinese Hindu temple. and the place of worship for the adherents of Balinese Hinduism in Indonesia. Puras are built in accordance to rules, style, guidance and rituals found in Balinese architecture.Among the most famous ones are: Tanah lot, Uluwatu temple, Ulun Danu Beratan and Besakih. Besakih was the biggest among the lot and had a breathtaking view from the top

5) Hikes : I absolutely loved the Campuhan ridge walk and should not be missed. The good part is that there are cafes inside and one could take a hike in the morning and have breakfast in one of the cafes.
