Preparations:

1. We planned to invest lesser time in the travel to reach the place hence Booked flight tickets 3 months before for both to and return journey.

Chose Spicejet flight from Hyderabad to Goa (Dabolim airport) and from Goa to Hyderabad (INR 9,100 for 2 people round trip)

2. Stay: This is the main point to take care of when going with family, So as a couple when we chose to book the stay i opted for goibibo with a filter for 4Star and near by the beaches and top rated stays. After i sorted around 5-6 hotels then i spoke to each of them personally and booked "Adamo, the bellus-Goa" for the 4 day stay at Goa

(Price- 4400 per night+3000 for Airport pick up and drop- hence i paid 20,600 in total)

I have paid the entire amount while booking just to ensure hastle free stay over there.

3. Shopping and Packing: The major hustle in any travel trip is to go prepared with the attire and costumes based on which place you are going to.

So our trip being from Dec 3rd to Dec 7th which is peak of winters we chose to pack cozy jackets as must. Hence if you are going in this peak season of touristy make sure to have the below things along with you.

* Woolen jackets, Sunscreen, Good foot wear to roam in the beaches, handy bag packs, water proof sling bag/portable luggage bag, comfortable beach wear, swim suit(many private beaches have strict dress code like nylon or the proper swim suit attire), extra fold-able duffle bags to get any shopping goods you buy there while coming back

So yes we are all set and excited for the trip.

Day 1

December 3rd 2019: We have our flight at 5PM IST so checked in at 4:20PM and started to Goa.

Got down at the Airport by 6:15PM, collected our check-in baggage and headed towards the arrival exit and we are welcomed by the Hotel arranged cab guy, and we headed off to Adamo the Bellus. The journey was about 1hr to the place.

8:30PM- Got our room allotted and completed the check in formalities which took less than 5 minutes.

We have booked "The Regency Room" which is a room with Private balcony and a 4 star room which has Complimentary breakfast, 2 water bottles per room for a day, Wifi for 2 devices, Tea/Coffee maker with milk powder+tea sachet+sugar+coffee powder, 24 Hrs room service.

Took a quick shower and walked out to explore the night streets of Goa and have some local food as dinner. We have not taken the bike yet hence roamed around 2kms radus within the hotel and came back by around 1AM.

Day 2

We woke up by 8AM and went to the restaurant owned by the Hotel for Breakfast.

Breakfast is a buffet spread which has North and South Indian dishes along with continental items like Sausages, Ham etc. We finished our breakfast and went ahead in search of bike for the next 3 days.

We have a car/bike rental just beside the stay, took a bike for INR300 per day(9am to 9am the next-so anytime you take in the day, the next day 9am is when you have to return) with petrol excluded.

Got freshen up and went to the Candolim Beach for Water sports like speedboat, parachute, jet ski and took a walk on the shore of the beach. On the way found few interesting places like Kings mansion which is owned by Sachin Joshi which he bought from Vijay Mallya earlier named as Kingfisher's Villa.

Was so tired with the sporting hence chose to have some quick lunch at this place "Goa's Ark" near the Anjuna beach. We had Fish gravy with rice and Fried Pamphlet which are at their best. Tummy happy :)

After the quick lunch went to Panaji for a Dolphin trip in the waters where all the Casino's are located like Big Daddy, Casino Pride etc. This dolphin trip costed us 500 per person which is total worth, we were taken like around 15km distance from the shore into the waters where on the way we happened to see buildings like Vijay mallya's 85 crore palace and few shooting spots where Dhooom2 and few bollywood movies are shot. we happened to encounter few dolphins in the journey, with a nice DJ background and calm waters we thoroughly enjoyed this trip which lasted for 2 hours till we reach back the shore where we parked our bike.

Drove back to the stay where we took rest for like 2hrs and started off to dinner at this most happening place called Fisherman's Cove.

This place has got a great ambiance and live music with it. The food is super amazing with proper Goan tinge with them, we ordered Fish cooked in red gravy with rice and chicken lollipop, Paneer tadka fry with few drinks side by, spent like around 3hours with some pleasant music and crowd, worth every penny you spend here. (prices are slightly on a high note comparatively- ours is around 3450 for 2 person)

Done for the day.. very happy and content at heart :) head to bed after passing by the roads of night markets of baga beach where we did shopping like hats, bag and few jewelry.

We also have booked an Island trip on Day3 which includes pick up and drop from stay, visit to Island, Breakfast, Lunch, Scuba diving (training and adventure), Snorkeling, Fishing, Dolphin vist, 5 water sports and 2 complimentary beers pp/- which is at the price of 3200 per person.

Day 3

We are picked up by the planner at 7:30AM at our stay and are taken to a place near Panjim where the sea shore has a boat awaiting us which will take us to the Island. We have completed the formalities to get into the boat like signing in the form , collecting coupons for food and drinks and yes we are set to go :)

Boarded the boat named "sea queen" with all the scuba equipment set and food on the boat, got break fast with a sea view and water splashes all over the face during the journey is just like heaven.. Its a 1 hour journey to reach the Island and hence you will have training for the Scuba given by the instructor here and they will male you understand even the smallest of the things so you don't need to worry even if you are a fresher/beginner/non-swimmer.

We went to Island in the middle of the water with like 20 feet depth, the right place for Scuba and other water sports.. so we started off with all the water sports and then followed by Scuba. Scuba Diving is a real life escape and every one should definitely try it once in their life time for sure. I was so happy that I made it tick from my bucket list, my trainer Bipin is so so friendly and made me feel so confident and get that courage to do it.

On the way we happened to see Vasco port, the place where Vasco-da-gama discovered India for the first time. The Vasco city lies on the western tip of the Mormugao peninsula, at the mouth of the Zuari River, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) from Panaji, Goa's capital, and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Dabolim Airport. We saw the ship parked over there which also offers tripping for tourists to travel from Mumbai to Goa and from Chennai to Andaman across the sea which can booked a month before. It takes about 3-4 days to reach Andaman with this travel journey.

After about 3 hours of the entire sporting in the middle of ocean we returned to the shore where we started for Lunch and drinks at about 4:30PM.

We are offered with Proper Goan thali with limited but super tasty veg and non veg options like chicken, fried fish, paneer etc. and beers with light music.. we had super fun there for about an hour and a half and we started back to stay at 6pm in the return arranged by the planner. This is like one hell of an experience.

We had Pool party at our stay Adamo from 7pm till 10pm so we took a quick nap after going back, got ready in the swim wear and attended the pool party which offered numerous food variants and drinks at the zone with the pool decorated with Christmas theme, so we had real good fun time till 10pm and then dozed off to bed as we are real tired with all the activities in the day.

Day 4

Woke up to a super cute breakfast at our stay around 8am, then got freshen up and started out by 9am to wander around the streets for some shopping to friends and family. There are many Tibetan street markets to shop from which offers unique jewelry and home decor stuff.

Then headed to Newtons super market which offers wide variety of liquor and goa local fridge badges, scarfs, key chains, memo holders to shop for and we bought many of the things here which are unique and local to goa. (a whopping bill of 14000 here :P )

Went back to stay and stored all the stuff we bought and headed to lunch at this amazing place Fat fish near baga beach, ordered steam rice, prawns xacuti and King fish. King fish stole the show and later tried butter garlic prawns which are super yumm. Over all this is a must try food for amazing mock-tails and Goan food.

Took a power nap for like an hour and then headed off to Big Daddy casino..

A goa trip without visit to Casinos is always incomplete, the day we went was little crowdy so chose to take entry pass with complimentary drinks, food and chips worth 5000 INR, had real good fun time here with many live shows and different games which can take part in.. spent like about 3 hours in side the ship of Big daddy casino and headed back to stay to get some sleep and be ready to roam on the streets as this is gonna be our last night at this amazing place.. "Goaaa"

Took a ride to Miramar beach which offers an amazing beach walk at night times with many food stalls around to have panipuri and some Goan snacks.. Had a great time by the beach side with cool breeze passing by... Lovely way to close the trip :)

Came back to stay and got freshen up,to start roaming on the streets of goa on bike just like that with no specified destination in mind.. on the way happened to meet many local people to learn about how they feel staying in a place which attracts the maximum number of people during the year ends.. we also saw many foreigners esp Germans who are enjoying their year end vacation..

Day 5

With a content full heart and mind came back to sleep and packed the bags to leave for early morning flight at 7am at Dabolim airport

Started at 4am near stay in the cab arranged by the resort people and Reached airport by 5am with no traffic at all on the way, took the flight and came back Hyderabad by 8:30AM on 7th of december. :) :)

This is to one amazing trip to Goa.

#keep travelling #Travel makes you realize how small part of the world you occupy..
