Day 1

I started from Madurai early morning and reached kodaikanal bus stand around 1pm. You can check my other trip to know more about Madurai. I had booked my stay at Dostel, the owner is really helpful and locations is also good. Only drawback for the hostel was the washroom. It's was the worst ever seen. After keeping our luggage we proceeded to dolphin nose and echo point. The trek is strenuous but worth the view. Do try the tree tomatoes and passion fruits which are sold on the way. You can plan it for 2-3 hours. While trekking back, you can eat at Altaafs  Cafe, pancakes were good.Everything closes around 8 pm in Kodaikanal . So just arrange for a bonfire without fail. It'll be an amazing experience. We played old songs. Continuing this, we slept in the graden itself.

Day 2

Today we had booked the whole tour. Which we regret. I advise you all not to do so. The rush and traffic was driving us mad. I highly recommend you to plan your trip in off season. Anyways, we covered all the places. Most of them have the same view. Lake is amazing, take a boat ride or cycle around the lake. Instead of the tour you can just chill and do near by treks. Don't forget to buy homemade chocolates, buy them near the lake only not from the bus stand. My trip ends here. It's a short trip you can plan for your weekend. If you have a group you can chill for 2-3 days.
