Day 1

Every single gang in college has an untold story of Goa plan which they never gone. But luckily we made a plan and executed it and all credits go to "INDIGO AIRLINES" for their year end airfare. The trip costed around INR 1700 for a one way trip from chennai. Since i've been a solo traveller this is my first group trip and believe me it was full of fun. On day one we all started from chennai airport at 4.00 am and arrived at dabolim. Unfortunately we found that the shuttle service will start from 8am only. Since we arrived early we booked a taxi from airport to panaji. After reaching panjim we rented a scooter for INR 150/day. There are plenty of bike rentals so don't fear or get confused. After finishing our breakfast at panjim we started to calangute where we booked our room previously and the credit goes to tripoto. North goa is so commercialized so that you can choose budget friendly rooms and also hostels. From calangute we started to arambol.

Arambol is around 27 kms from calangute and it will take nearly an hour to reach. The beach is less crowded and has its own vibe. The only reason to visit this place is to do paragliding. It's costs around 2000 INR per head. If you are an adrenaline junkie then it's a must try adventure. The things are quite costly in this beach. The mandrem and ashwem beach are near by arambol and if you want to see white sand beaches don't miss this places on your way back.

From morjim beach we started towards vagator beach. It's a quite and beautiful place and it's also have a market to buy souvenirs. After having lunch and wandering around the beach we headed to chapora fort to see the sunset. Be sure to reach there before 5pm and have some energy to climb up since there is no even steps to climb up.

After seeing a beautiful sun set we reached anjuna beach to enjoy the night vibe and  had dinner at the "CURLIES" SHACK. I had the handmade penni pasta with white sauce and it's utterly delicious and melt in my mouth. Since it was Saturday we moved to arpora night market to buy some stuffs. This night market is a wide variety of colors and scenes and is truly a collection of stalls having cultural influence. But definitely you should bargain to buy some artistic stuffs. After spending some quality time around market to try out delicious food items we returned to room to finish the day to start next day with a bang.

EXPLORING NORTH GOA

Day 2

On day two we thought of doing some adventures so we moved to candolim to do water sport activities. To try out these activities there are lots of places available and again be sure to bargain. For parasailing we paid INR 600 for half an hour inside the sea. Don't miss out jetskii, banana ride and so on if you are an adventure junkie. You can select combo offers to try out all these stuff and be early to avoid sun and crowd. To go diving and see dolphins they have offers with breakfast but it will take an entire day.

From candolim we rode to sinquerim beach which takes less than 15 Mins to reach. You can find rocky beach and also a fort followed by shacks and watersport activities. The best time to visit this place is evening for a amazing view of sunset. You can also collect souvenirs and play with crabs here. Make sure to hydrate  yourself to avoid dehydration cuz the heat is so cruel in Goa and also wear sunscreen to save yourself from tanning.

To view sunset we rushed to aguada fort from sinquerim. The entry is restricted after 5pm make sure to be there on time. The fort was constructed during Portuguese period to supply water to ships. The fort consist of upper and lower base. It also has a light house. The view from the fort is outstanding and picturesque. The road to aguada is quite hilly and steepy so drive carefully while maneuvering in those curvy roads.

If you dont go to party that too the in party paradise of India then you're totally mad. So after sunset we reached baga to enjoy the night party in the famous "Titos". The baga beach is full of sundecks, beach cafes, shacks where most of the place was converted into DJ points with loud music. The famous havana club, blue moon and the brittos are here. It is just two kilometres from calangute and easily accessible by road if you have two wheelers. After a tiring night we went calangute to rest awhile to start the next day towards south Goa.

Day 3

South Goa - magnificent

From Panjim we started to margoa we rented out a bike. Renting a bike in south Goa is totally different from north since they ask rent for day basis and also it is quite costly compared to north Goa.

We booked a room in colva and had breakfast there and headed towards sernabatim beach. It's is just 4kms from colva and it will take just 15 mins if we cover by bike.

From sernabatim we moved to benaulim beach. It's another white sand beach which is scenic and calm. We had some quality time and played in beach. Never forget to built a sand castle to bring out the kid  in you.

To finish day 3 we moved to varca beach to enjoy the night peacefully. The south Goa beaches are very quiet than north Goa. They are less crowded and it will let you to find inner peace.  We ended the day by having dinner and buying some cashews while coming back to colva.

Day 4

Since it's time to go home we explored some more places around colva like betalbatim beach, sunset beach, majorda beach along with a beautiful sunrise view at colva. We returned back to margoa to catch the shuttle bus to vascodagama. We also bought Fenny's and liquors as gift and started the most scenic train journey towards Chennai. If you've ever want to go Goa keep these things in mind to avoid unwanted tensions. Keep cash in hand since most of the ATM's don't have cash and it is also difficult to find one even if you find one it will be crowded. Fill up your tank incase of rental bike cuz you don't find petrol bunks often that too in interior places. Keep water bottle cuz water is costlier than liquor. Never throw garbagges and empty bottles. Avoid usage of plastics.
