Pondi is known for its French-Portuguese style colonies, food, night life and the beaches. But I discovered another side to it on my 4th trip, Scuba Diving. Being scared of water and asthmatic, I never thought it is gona be easy. Once I registered, they provide training a day before of dive. They teach you everything required when you are under water and what to be done in emergency. It was not easy breathing through that pipes. It was an assisted diving and non swimmers can do too.
And finally we were sailing in mid of the sea, I discovered I have sea sickness and this just made it all worse. But once I was inside I forgot about the world that exist above the sea, different shades of blue reflecting in the sun rays. And then I see number of fishes just around me in bunches, some jelly fishes. You feel weight less and beauty inside was just nothing that you can imagine for.
Make sure you don’t travel during monsoon, keep yourself hydrated as it takes time and it will be humid.
