After a brief visit to the church , we headed back to the hostel for rest, we were completely tired due continuously walking around the palace.

We heard the dasara exhibition is still going on , hence we thought we pay a visit. There were lots of handicrafts and hand made items for sale , these exihibition also had adventure rides , different varieties of street foods.

Exhibition is a yearly affair , it would be open for 45 days post dasara, its better to check and then visit.

First thing first we went to have Breakfast at Mahesh prasad, very pocket friendly south indian hotel.

Each and every item is lip smacking , we could not believe its so cheap as well

One of the Hidden treasures of Mysore eatery is Haalkhova Iyengar , Mysore is famous for its Mysore Pak , and everyone visits Guru Sweets for the same , but there is a hidden gem , its halkhova Iyengar , who sells the sweets in the house, Each slab cost us 60rs , which had 6 pieces.

Photo of Halkova Iyengar, Devamba Agrahara, Krishnaraja Mohalla, Chamarajapuram Mohalla, Chamrajpura, Mysuru, Karnataka, India by nithinpn86

Once we finished picking up the mysore pak , we headed to SGS Ashrama which is famous for its Shuka Vana , it is the rehabilation center for the birds as well as the hanuman temple.

Most of the birds are rehabilated , and one can get photos with them as well, it was around 150/pic and they charged us approx 300rs for digital version.

I really feel they are fed well and taken care , coz i could see caretakers cleaning their cages and providing food on regular basis, well i might be wrong too but i enjoyed visiting the place as i could see the birds in close proximity.

Well its fake though !!!!
