So what do you usually seek after a 4 hour long journey to our last destination for now? A nice shower, fine food, a bed to lie on or maybe a restroom to check if your bowel movement is working fine. We reached Jodhpur around 4 P.M and went to hostel mustache, the bunk beds were small but the rest of space was fine and will help you get all cozy and enjoy with you friends.

Day 1

The manager gave us a map which helped us a lot and yes, we learnt our lesson and followed the map not the Google maps . As it was pretty late for us to go and explore, we planned to taste the local delicacies, Jodhpur had to offer. And took an auto to clock tower and treated ourselves some lassi at Mishrilal hotel which is a small shop but provides just the right stuff. After that we treated ourselves some omelettes at omelette shop which provided us such a big menu. We got got startled by the size of their... menu and omelette. The taste was fine. Later we had mawa kachori at Janta sweets which was so sweet like a sugar mill might have opened up at my taste buds.(

Later, we departed to hostel and played darts, chess and Foosball. There's also a pretty cool rooftop of Mustache hostel which serves quality traditional food such as Lal maas, and Longewala paneer which were spicy but was absolutely fantastic. I must say if I should rate the food and hospitality of the restro, it's 10/10. We dozed off after planning our further itinerary for the next day.

Around 10 A.m we took our leave from Hostel and went to Chandrapole which is the actual blue part of the city for which this city is famous for "The Blue City".And saw that place is not truly blue altogether. There are only certain sections are wholly blue. For seeing the blues we actually roamed all around the Chandrapole area and almost consumed our 2 hours. Only the terraces are blue which we saw from the Mehrangarh fort which gave us an illusion that whole city is colored blue.Later we went to Toorji ka Jhalra which is a cool place to hangout. Well, you can go from fort to jhalra by walking as it's just a 10 minute walk. You can walk to clock tower as well.

Around 1.30P.M we went to Umaid Bhawan which was half an hour drive from clock tower to their. We were mesmerized by the grand structure and architecture as it was the last palace built in Jodhpur. Well, you'll surely enjoy the car collection if your car junkie like us as you'll spot some real antique cars worth respect and a visit. You can visit museum and get yourself a taste from the past. You'll surely enjoy this even more if you're a historian, as it'll be like a heaven for you.

After this, one of us kinda got sick so we departed to our hostel and got him some medicines and sleep as we later in the evening had a train to catch at 7 P.M and ditched our further itinerary to mandore gardens. But we will be back someday soon to watch this as well.
