Day 1

After unlock this was our first trip nd we decided to explore the desert of rajasthan. So we landed to jaisalmer which is a beautiful city covered with yellow stone buildings which give it a name of golden city. The day1 was all rest cuz we had a long drive of 12 hours. the very next day we explored gadisar lake .The gadi means fish and sar mean lake.this was constructed by Raja Rawal Jaiswal as there was lot of scarcity of water in jaisalmer. It is a beautiful picturesque location. One can do boating in Lake and get photographa clicked. Next we went to jaisalmer fort which is a live fort where ppl resides inside fort. It has shops, temples and restaurants inside it. Many bollywood pictures have been shot here due to its locations. It gives u a feel of turkey or arabian country.
In the evening we went for our long awaited destination sam sand dunes for desert safari. Here we stayed at desert springs which is the best camp in Jaisalmer. They have beautiful luxury tents with all amenities. after reaching desert springs we rested for a while and then we went for camel safari in desert.it was a fun ride and we enjoyed sunset. After we came back there was a cultural program in which local artists performed and dinner was served.next early morning we went for Jeep Safari for watching sunrise. It was an enthralling ride.Overall it was a great experience in desert. All the rides were arranged by desert springs itself. the staff was very courteous and guides us well.

Day2
We booked our stay at Suryagarh hotel in Jaisalmer, which is one of fine example of architect. We had already heard a lot about this place and it came out better than our expectations. They give you a royal welcome. Every nook and corner of this building is aesthetic at its best. The rooms, service ,food everything is top notch. They have an indoor swimming pool too. You will feel close to nature here and you can spend whole day inside premises without getting bored. We spent two days here .on the other day we also visited kuldhara village which is said to be cursed 300 years ago by the villagers of kuldhara that no one will be able to settle in their village. As per stories the place used to belong to paliwal brahmins. The prime minister of state  Salim singh who was 40 years approximately wanted to marry a 16 year old girl of village. He threatened the villagers to either adhere to his orders or leave the village. The villagers decided to leave the village instead of giving up to the tyrant. before leaving they cursed the place. The place remains barren till date and it is said that if any one has dared to go to the village after sunset has felt paranormal activities.
It is also a must visit place. After visiting the place we went back to hotel and relaxed.Next day we set for our journey back to home..overall it was a great visit to jaisalmer.
