Serene, Scenic Shimla: A drive to the Himalayas

Tripoto
20th Dec 2014

The trip was planned for Ranthambore for a jungle safari with friends.8-9 of us agreed for a jungle safari and way back we planned to visit Bhangarh fort as well.

Thanks to the usual female tantrums made by one of our female Peer which made change in the itinerary. Her consent and reason for not coming along was, as it is been raining (Dec 2014) for a couple of days, the tigers will not be seen during the safari  turning the trip to be a boring one.

Few more from us also agreed and stepped back from the trip.

Finally four of us re framed the trip to Shimla  and with my initiative we started our  tour on Dec 20th 2014. The essentials were stacked in the car previous night By me and Inder (my friend & Co -traveller From USA. Came to visit India For a year for family concerns).

We had Full stock of liquors, Dry foods, snacks. A portable barbecue, charcoal, half done Kebabs, cold drinks, water bottles. I took a blanket to be  on a safer side as well because it was chilling in Delhi that time of the year.

We didn't take too much clothes as it was a overnight tour. All of us were carrying small kit bags .

The Journey started at around 07:00 AM.

We received many warnings, suggestions awareness .Avoiding all we set on drive at 7:00 AM from Gurgaon.

We enjoyed music barbecued food live set up .Drinks on the way and scenic beauties.

The cold night at Shimla went hot with drinks ,food and music with special ones to company.Though the trip was for shimla only .While returning we took a call to visit Kasauli...nice place with setting sun  bringing closer to nature........
