Stay there and work from there but the best part is on weekends we explore near by places like a traveler not like a tourist. No further delay I will highlight some of the best workcation friendly places in Uttarakhand.
Almora is one of those places which is backpackers friendly, means stay and food is very pocket friendly. Since they are promoting tourism alot these days which makes it a good choice for workcation. It has some good cultural diversity. The elevation is 1638 meter which will not cause any serious issues and it spread over ridge of Kashyap Hills. This place has delightful cold weather all across the year.

- By Train:- Nearest railway station is Kathgodam, which approx. 90 kilometers from Almora. You can take local bus or book a taxi.
- By Bus:- You will get buses from all the major cities direct to almora. like: Delhi and Chandigarh.
