Only tribe members can answer thisHRTC operates to and fro from Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Leh, Ladakh and Delhi. Since this trek starts from Leh, you need to enquire at HRTC website before travelling.

UpvoteCommentFrom Cochin Paniyeli poru is 2 hours away, approximately 60kms. From Cochin there are buses to this perumbavoor town. Then from perumbavoor you could take shared taxis or cabs up to Paniyeli. The best way is self drive or take a taxi direct from Cochin to Paneyeli.

July is called as rainy month of Spiti valley. It’s also the month no snowfall is seen and roads are great to drive. There are full chances of downpours to heavy rains. Landslides are also possible. Unless you have a full list of do’s and don’ts travelling to Spiti will be easy.
