We started from NJP Railway Station by 11 am. If you want to come by flight then the nearest airport is Badgodra Airport which is 9 km away from Siliguri.

As it was my first trip to Hill Station so i was pretty excited as we moved towards high altitude.  It was just amazing to watch those places,  roads at high elevations.

The roads are not fully in good conditions and at some places it was bit scary though , but no need to worry at all because local drivers drive so well in those roads. We sighted some frequent land slide areas (Not during our trip) . So it is advised to visit Sikkim before June. Though in our entire trip we haven't seen any rain at all .. :-)

Before reaching Pelling , we stopped at place before Geyzing around 4 pm to have some refreshments. The name of that cafe I don't remember but you can try some good eateries like Momos, Wye Wye Noodles , Coffee etc etc at reasonable price under 100/- . That was located at a great nature's view ....

We reached at our Hotel around 6:00 PM in the same day. Our hotel was situated in middle pelling . Pelling city has 3 parts i.e Upper, Middle and Lower Pelling.

Here if you haven't planned your trip, the hotels have tied up with many travel agent and taxi services. So no need to worry , they will arrange everything for you but some last minute arrangements normally costs little more.
