It's almost a month, and I'm still trying. Trying to capture the mad rush of excitement and burst of happiness that I experienced in my beach trek in Gokarna. But I give up now. I'll just list here the route that I followed, so that you, if you happen to be another solo traveler like me, can trek a bit easily. The tale of the trail? Well, you have to be there to listen to it :)

TheTrek Route

I would suggest, start from Kudle beach. Not because I started from there, but because starting from there would offer you all the beaches you need to cover, in a row - Om Beach, Half Moon Beach and Paradise Beach. But if you are staying on Om, then follow the trail from there towards the left to Half Moon and Paradise then come back to Om and go towards Kudle on the right. So, the route at a glance would be -

Kudle - Om - Half Moon - Paradise

Kudle to Om

If you are starting from Kudle, go to the far end towards Om Beach side (a li'l bit of asking around would do) and climb up the rocky trail on to the next trail and it will lead you to a proper road tat leads your next destination. Here, this route wouldn't go side by side the sea, so don't get confused like me. Take the 'only wide route you see and follow. I wasted almost 10-15 minutes there being a bit confused, as to whether or not I should take that trail, as you won't get a sign board directing you at this point! :D

Om Beach to Half Moon

Now, rest of the trail is very easy. Just follow the picture trail I have left here and you would find yourself in the most scenic beach trek route ever!

Half Moon to Paradise

I still regret it; not going to the Paradise beach. Just push yourself a bit more through humidity (which I couldn't, under a scorching March Sun) and you would be there.

Don't forget to take time off in between your trek. Stop, breath in the fresh air and enjoy the picturesque scenery all around you. Gokarna beach trek is one activity in India, that you should definitely try.

Looked just like a private beach with only one shack there!
