Goa, the little paradise in India has always remained a dream of every Indian and many foreigners. With 125 km of long coastline and a rich Indian and Portuguese culture, it attracts beach lovers, party animals, water sports lovers, trekkers and people hunting for a peaceful and serene holidays.

The beaches of Goa spread from North to South have all the different flavours. Some of the beaches boast colourful nightlife and adventurous water sports while many are still isolated and far away from the hustle and bustle of crowded beaches.

1. Terekhol Beach

The most northern beach of Goa is famous for a Portuguese Terekhol fort. A beautiful, calm and quiet beach generally remains isolated.

2. Querim Beach

Also known as Keri beach among locals gives a splendid view of Tiracol River meeting Arabian Sea. Though not suitable for swimming because of high waves, it provides a perfect escape into lap of nature. This beach is still not commercialized, attracting the tourists searching for a calm and quite beach destination.

3. Kalacha Beach

It is a beautiful beach with good paragliding options. The beach is famous for short water lake nearby fed by sulphur hot spring considered to have healing activities.

4. Arambol Beach

The Hippie capital of Goa is famous with international tourists. The beach enchants 16 Km of long sand stretch with little bit of commercialization. Lot of star fishes and verities of crabs are visible here.

5. Harmal Beach

Harmal beach is famous for fresh water lake nearby with good Sea food. Because of strong waves, the place is not ideal for swimming but one can spend good time here.

6. Mandrem Beach

This is one of the secluded beaches of North Goa, still not popular with tourists. One can go for Dolphin watch from this beach.

8. Morjim Beach

Located on northern bank of river Chapora, this clean and rocky beach is considered a mini Russia because of popularity among Russian tourists.

9. Chapora Beach

Famous for Chapora ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ fort provides a very scenic view of Arabian Sea from the fort. The look is mesmerizing during sunset.

18. Miramar Beach

Miramar is the nearest beach to Panjim which has resulted in its commercialization. The beach is famous for local streets shops, chats and restaurants. Compared to rest of the Goan beaches, this beach is not that much clean.
